The sun shone on Fraserburgh, matching the tremendous positivity in the room, as we hosted Deputy First Minister and Cabinet Secretary for Economy and Gaelic, Kate Forbes MSP, at the Harbour in mid-July.
On the agenda was discussion of our plans for Harbour development and expansion, designed to support our nationally-significant fishing sector and vessel maintenance capabilities, as well as our continued support of the ever-growing offshore renewable industry.
We are hugely appreciative of the interest shown by senior level politicians in visiting us, giving us feedback and showing their support. This was a truly affirmative session, with next steps agreed to drive our vision forward.
