You could be exactly what we’re looking for, as Fraserburgh Harbour seeks to appoint four new Commissioners.
As a Trust Port, our Commissioners – 12 in total – play a critical role in the Harbour’s ongoing success and development.
They are responsible for the administration and maintenance of the Port and this opportunity comes at a time when the Harbour is poised to execute its most ambitious project yet in the form of the Harbour Masterplan.
We’re looking for colleagues who are committed to making a difference; helping to steer the development of Fraserburgh Harbour as we expand in order to safeguard and grow the local fishing industry, increase our involvement in offshore wind activity and provide career opportunities in Fraserburgh for generations to come.
We are looking for individuals who can devote up to one day per month to the role and contribute experience in any of the following:
Fishing, Engineering and Construction, Energy Transition, Law, Environmental, Business Administration, Accounting and Finance.

Closing date for applications 12.00 noon on Friday 3rd November 2023 with interviews to follow thereafter. Appointments will be for an initial term of three years, commencing 12th January 2024.
