Following the award of £2.47 million from The Scottish Government’s Just Transition Fund, we have reached an important milestone in our development programme as we commence ground investigation works for the proposed extension of the North Breakwater.
This marks a significant step forward in delivering the Harbour’s future growth ambitions and we are pleased to announce the appointment of Causeway Geotechnical to undertake this scope of work.
Over the coming weeks, the Causeway team will work closely with Arch Henderson – company of Haskoning who are serving as Project Manager & Technical Lead, and Haskoning, our Technical Advisor & Project Manager.
These are exciting times for Fraserburgh Harbour as we continue to invest in infrastructure that will support existing industries, unlock new opportunities, and strengthen the Harbour’s role in the region’s economic future.
