The Fraserburgh Community Council’s Beach Sandcruiser Wheelchair Fund is all about making Fraserburgh Beach more accessible.
Once again, we’re delighted to be able to donate to this exceptionally worthwhile cause.
Our donation of £500 represents the fee the Harbour received when makers of the independent film, The Son and the Sea spent time filming with us.
The film’s writer and producer, Imogen West, is a strong supporter of the Fund, wishing the beach had been more accessible to those with mobility issues when she came to visit her late auntie and Broch local, Marie West.
Imogen is sure her auntie would have benefited from visits to one of her favourite spots and what Imogen calls “one of the most incredible beaches in the UK”.
The Corner Shop is a driving force behind the fundraising and we would like to remind you that you can still donate to the Fund there or by using the bank details in the image below.
