We are pleased to confirm that Pamela Neri (previously Commercial Manager)’s role at Fraserburgh Harbour is now Harbour Development Manager.
This is so reflective of the exciting times we’re going through, and we thought it worthwhile sharing with everyone why the change has been made, as we continue to develop our biggest ever project.
The Harbour is developing as a business at every level, and the Masterplan is a huge undertaking for a business of our size. Not only do we need to deliver the Masterplan, we must also be ready for future demands on our business as we change and grow.
Our focus is not simply income for the Harbour itself. As a Trust Port, it is our remit to be an economic enabler for our stakeholders and our community. That means developing the Harbour in a way that won’t just be about our own profit and loss sheet, but one which considers the jobs, businesses and stakeholders that require the Harbour to grow and develop in order to be able to operate and facilitate their own success.
We asked Pamela to sum it up and she said this:
“My primary objective is to develop Fraserburgh Harbour for the benefit of our town and wider region, and so it makes sense for my title to now better reflect my day-to-day role – making it really clear to everyone that we are 100% committed to the development of the Harbour. We’re a forward-looking business, focused on our Masterplan and with great plans for the future that will affect all of us. We’re developing our business and our people to ensure those plans are delivered and that makes it easy for me to say that I have never been more committed to anything in my career, ever.”
Well said, Pamela!
